Getting Started on Cost-savings Initiatives

For maximum impact, cost savings initiatives are best started in January when there are a full 12 months in which to realize the gains. But, initiatives can only get underway when resources are available, solutions rise to the surface, and there are no fires that need immediate attention. So while January may be the best time to roll out cost-saving measures, the next best time is now (no matter what today's date is on the calendar).
