Coating Applications
Using the correct coating on a cutting tool can give you longer tool life while increasing feeds and speeds. We offer 6 dif-ferent applications of coating. They are AlTiN, TiAlN, TiN, TiCN, ZrN and Diamond Coating, with customized coating available for specialized jobs. The type of mate-rial you are cutting and the application you are using it in will determine which type of coating will work best for you. We have listed a chart here to give some general direction in what coating to use.
